WHAT a TRIP!

I had a wonderful surgeon who did a great job taking out my gall bladder. He's GREAT! He's a cross between an aw shucks country doc (kind, wise) and Doogie howser!

He found lots of gall stones blocking my common bile duct and my pancreatic duct. He gave me medication to flush it out but sent me to Vandy for surgery. They treated me like a parriah because i'm a pain pt so that was a bad experience and it hurt alot more than the first surgery....

This week I went back to the castle for more tests cuz I lost more weight. He wants me to do one more in hospital for two days because I keep losing weight and getting dehydrated.

thank you all for your prayers.

Angie:

SOOO glad to hear from you!!!!

Thank goodness that gall bladder is GONE...I wonder if the weight loss is due to the liver trying to re-adapt when you'd had the pancreatitis for so long???

Sweetie, you've never been far from my thoughts... again...

(((Angie)))

I'm so sorry that you have been dealing with pain and with inconsiderate doctors and staff, but glad that your gallbladder is out.

Please keep us posted on your progress. You've been in my thoughts and prayers.
