Hey, Druid

I just read that you will be having bladder sling surgery. I had to potpone mine from last June until sometime soon. Do you have anything you could share, or maybe already have. I haven't visited this site in a while. Hope all goes well for you.

Hey, Druid

Sherl aka Reina,

I am not Druid but thought I might be able to help ya out if you have questions about bladder sling surgery. I had this surgery done 8 November 2002 and am so glad I had it done. The recovery was a tad rough, but no regrets here. Instead of waking up 4-5 times a night to use the bathroom, I am sleeping through the entire night (and with no urgency). If I do have to get up, it's only usually once a night every now and then.

If you have some questions, maybe I can be of some assistance. :-) Feel free to PM or Email me.

Yes, I'm having bladder sling surgery on Feb. 26. I'm glad Amy S said she is doing well. I'm scared of the surgery but I can't ake the incontinence any more. I had a Burch with my hyst in 2000, but it had failed obviously. My urologist said the sling in which he will be using my own tissue, fascia, would be best for me. My problem is pretty bad. I'be been dealing with this for about a year now, so enough is enough. I leak a lot and coughing or sneezing, or even walking makes me soak through pad after pad. It's awful. Let me know how you are doing.
Love, Light, Blessings
