Questions? Leg Pain

Hi,

I'm 2 1/2 weeks post op LAVH and for the past 2 or 3 days I've been having this numbness and tingle in my right calf. This kind of scares me because I had a blood clot in the same place about 4 years ago. It isn't red and really doesn't look any different from my other leg. It also feels as if something is behind my right knee...but....I feel nothing unusual there as well. My right groin area feels as if there is something there cutting off the circulation....ya know how it feels if your panties are too tight and they are cutting into you right there.....that's how it feels...but there is nothing there.

Just wondered if any of you had this experience or thought that it was something that I should be concerned about. I put a call into my GP since he was the one who treated me for the blood clot several years ago. I'm waiting on a call back but wondered if any of you had experienced this.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Questions? Leg Pain

Hi Terry! I hope your doc will call soon with some info for you. I think that is your best bet considering you have a history of blood clots. I did experience the feeling you are having in your groin for quite a few weeks after my hyst. It eventually just went away. Let us know.

Questions? Leg Pain

GP called me back. With the history of blood clots he wants me to go and have it checked this afternoon. They made me an appointment for 3:15 with the imaging center in town and they will hold me there until they call my Dr. with results.

I will keep you posted.

Thanks
