Having a bad day...

.....and I need 's....lots of them!

I'm feeling the pain of either adhesions or IC or both today....lower back, pelvic, bladder area, feel super sluggish too.

We took off on our weekend trip, I slept alot. DH forgot to bring enough of his insulin so we came home a day early. This is fine with me...except, now that we are home, I feel the compulsion that I HAVE to do things around the house! At least being in the RV I could gel and relax. I really think my body is so worn out it needed all that sleep!

I think a nap is definetly in order today...it's back to work tomorrow too.

Curious, did any sisters who have adhesions ever notice the pain would move from area to area? Mine has been predominately on the left side of the pelvic region but now, for the past 1 week it's been more right sided?????

Sending 's to everyone today!!!

Having a bad day...

's !!!!!!!!

Lori, you know I know just how you feel. I suspect I might have adhesions too and so does my PT. I get these pulling sensations in my pelvic area that really hurt . I am just now getting over my bad week....the one week out of each month that I feel absolutely horrible and it's a struggle to function normally. It's such a hard thing to deal with! Get as much rest as you can. I unfortunately have not been able to rest. I'm just trying to rely on my meds to get me through....pretty sad

Anyway....here's more 's. You need them!

Having a bad day...

I'm sorry your little break didn't go so well. You take it easy and get lots of

I have been having prodiminently pain on the left which they are saying is possibly from the cyst on my left ovary. They are curious whether it is migrating to the right and hoping adhesions might not be the culprit. I am keeping my fingers crossed, I have had adhesions from previous ab surgeries and really don't want them back. I believe ab pain is very susceptible to migrating and difficult to pinpoint. Also I wonder if adhesions attached to muscles areas or have nerve endings in them whether they don't signal the brain for a larger area??

I hope you have a better day, please take care!

Big s,

Nap time...

Thanks Pasdechat...

Yes, I know you understand how I feel. We both got our IC diagnosis on the same day, remember? That was also DH's and my 10 year wedding anniversary....:

Geeeez, I do feel horrible today. I managed to clean up the kitchen and start a load of laundry. I just told DH I'm crawling back into bed....So what, right???? My mind tells me to listen to my body and then perhaps tomorrow will be a better day physically.....It's hard though.

Sorry you can't curl up and veg.... I'm trying to do this drug free, except for the Vioxx. I thought it was helping, but I guess I said the words last week that I was feeling better without knocking on wood first!

Back to bed now...will check in later.

Thanks DLK!

So, when you say your ab pain is migrating, what do you mean? Do you think that the adhesions are pulling and tugging when inflammation is present and/or fro mthe cyst????

I had multiple cysts on both ovaries and hydrosalphinxes to boot...LAVH took it all. BUT, I mentioned this to the PT last week...the lower quadrant pain feels reminiscent of the ovary pain I used to have! When took a look at the left O during the LAVH, she found it to be smashed against the sidewall and had to peel it off and remove it separately! I wonder now if there could be some adhesions in there where the O was????

And...could endo monster be back???? GYN does not think so....but, we'll find out.

Lap is scheduled for 3/13 so will definetly find out then.

Nap time...'s

While I'm not even sure that I have adhesions, my pain does seem to move around alot. My pain is mostly in the center of my abdomen and upper pelvis region. However there are days that I get stabbing pains in my right side. Some days it's so bad I'm sure I'm having a gall bladder or appendicitis attack. Than it'll calm back down and goes away for a few days.

I'm sorry that you're feeling worse sweetie. I'm sending lots of s your way.

Having a bad day...

Here is a to all of you ladies that aren't feeling well today!! I'm sorry to say that I am right there with you. Have had A LOT of tugging feelings on the left (which I suspect are adhesions or endo returning.) But, like you Kim, I've been having some sharp, piercing pain (since the weekend) on my right side which comes and goes. I don't have my gallbladder, but the appendix issue has crossed my mind, as well as another cyst. We have plans to spend the weekend with my relatives (90 mins away) this weekend, but I'm afraid that if the pain doesn't go away completely I'll be going to the ER instead. Last night it was so severe I was in tears, this morning it had eased up....wish I knew.

One thing for sure, there seems to be comfort in numbers. Take care all!

Having a bad day...

((Lori))

My pain seems to take turns especially now that my blasted gall bladder is taking turns too The left pain is still more prominent when the gall bladder calms down but the right side is more painful to the touch- that's when the DR decided to go in for a look see lap which I have turned into a LSO and gall bladder removal- what was I thinking

I have read post on ovary remnants, have you taken that into consideration?? especially with your explanation of surgery and history of endo- praying endo is not the culprit. Are you taking HRT's, can't remember if you said before??

I hope we both find resolution to this ongoing story and the end to our road of problems.

Big s and get lots of ,
