Still bleeding after hysterectomy

I had my hysterectomy in Aug 2000. I have both ovaries and every month since my surgery I bleed. Sometimes not enough to leave spots but enough to make me crazy. I don't have any pain whatsoever and the ob/gyn, after many visits, told me that I will probably just have to live with the bleeding. Does anyone else have this bleeding? Today there was more discharge than any other time. I'm calling my doc tomorrow. This just doesn't seem right to me. I would appreciate anyone's input. Thanks

Still bleeding after hysterectomy

Hi there I'm so sorry you're still having this cyclic bleeding after your hyst

I haven't had this problem but was wondering if you kept both your ovaries and your cervix? I know that when you keep both, there is a chance of having the mini periods you describe in your post.

I glad that you're seeing your doctor. Whatever the cause he/she will make sure that all is ok.

Sending lots of s your way. Please let us know how you're doing.
