Back from Castle....NO LSO

Ladies:

I survived- Surgery went well both DRs were excellent. They gave me a sedative before surgery which helped the anxiety greatly.

The GYN did the adhelysios and found that there wasn't a cyst on the ovary at all it was wrapped with adhesions. The bowel was also adhered with adhesions causing the other pains I believe. He elected to keep the ovary because it was in perfect condition( I was glad he made that decision- the only reason I wanted it removed because I didn't want to deal with the pain of cysts over and over again). BTW: he used an agent to prevent the adhesions from returning, I will find out at my post op visit what exactly it was- from DH description it sounds like a mesh type barrier.

The Surgeon found the gall bladder to be scarred and removed it.

The hospital was great and I had some wonderful nurses too. I did the short stay which is the 23 hour deal to be sure the bladder wasn't go to pitch a fit like last time.

All went well and hopefully I will be pain free once beyond post op. I was so relieved when I finally came out of anethesia state of mind. My family said there was an immediate difference in my appearance, I guess the pain and anxiety was much more evident than I realized.

Thank you all for your kind words and encouragagement, I don't think I would have faired half as well if I didn't have you ladies by my side. I thank you all for your prayer too, God was so gracious and I am so thankful.

Back to recovery and my training.

s to all,
DLK
