Scared

Hi Kim,
Thank you for being so thoughtful and wishing me well. I've been off and on this road for almost 3 years, and I'm really getting really nervous about this surgery. I had the flu last weekend and was coughing and sneezing so much at least it kept me focused as to why I truly need the surgery - I had absolutely no bladder control at all. I still have to work this Mon. and Tues., and I'm trying so hard to get things done both and work and at home. I hope I can make it through the next 2 days, let alon at the castle.
Love, Light, Blessings

Thank you

Dear Sisters,
I've been having a really lousy day and it means so much to come here and see the support of the wonderful ladies here. I'm getting more and more scared and my thoughts are running wild. I'm worried about all the pain, the supra public catheter, which I have never had, whether or not I will have good nurses at the castle (we all know what that can be like when we don't) the recovery, and the fear of having a failed surgery. What if I go from constant leaking and stress incontinence to not even being able to go on my own at all? I'm just a weary road traveller, fighting back tears and fears. Thank you all for listening.
Love, Light, Blessings

(((Druid))) sweetie, you are gonna be OK... I know it's scary, and frustrating, and the waiting and not knowing is just awful. I will be the same way in a few weeks here. But you're going to do fine. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this sling is going to do the trick and you'll feel soooo much better once this is behind you! Hang in there, we'll all be right here waiting for you when you get back home.

-Linda

Dear Sweet ((((((((Druid))))))))

I wish I had the words to ease your mind my friend. I can only empathize...and say many many prayers. I will ask God to take this stress away from you now...and that this surgery will be a huge success...and you will be able to live and enjoy life to the fullest.

You have been on this road for a very long time...and you will get better.

Have you discussed pain management with your Doc? Please make sure this is covered before you go in. You could probably discuss it on the phone with him/her.

If you find that your nurse is not a good one, please speak to the head nurse. I had a nasty nurse after my hyst., and was able to talk to the head nurse about it. I never saw that evil nurse again!

Hun, You will be fine...I feel it in my soul. I know it's easy for me to say...but I truly believe it.

I will continue to pray for you, and if there is anything I can do, please let me know.

Sending you much and soothing S
