Almost 8 months - what's going on?

I had TAH/BSO in July and am still feeling really sore in my tummy. I can't stand up lean up against the counter when washing dishes or having any pressure on my abdomen, although I can sleep on my stomach. It seems like its gotten worse in the past couple weeks. Could this be adhesions forming maybe? Or am I still just recovering from the surgery? (EIGHT MONTHS!!) Also, this sounds kind of stupid, but my pubic hair has disappeared! I take HRT, so could it be hormones or what. I feel like an idiot asking, but it's odd to say the least. I'm embarassed to ask the doctor about THAT! Thanks princesses for any advice you can give me?

Almost 8 months - what's going on?

hi Im just going on 8 months myself, and have some pain in my abdomen first thing in the morning. or if i do something to aggravate it. I think it may be scar tissue pulling . Sorry I cant help you with that.

But as for the loss of pubic hair I had the same problem as well as underarm hair, gone, missing, not there anymore.

I was completely freaked out, but it seems that my estragen levels were barely registering. Things have started to grow again now Im on the estradoil patch. Maybe you have a hormone problem too. maybe your level of hormone hasnt reached an acceptable level yet for your hair to grow back.

Id get your self checked out by the doctor just to make sure about your tummy and also have a blood test for hormone levels.

Hope you find the answer to your questions soon.

Mindik,

I agree with Chelle, and think that your hormones (or lack of hrt) 'could' be the reason for your lack of hair. Don't be shy asking anything around here. Chances are a couple of us have experienced this at one time or another. In the meantime you may want to consider posting this over on the Hormone Jungle. Just click this link and post the hair question there: https://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/for...p?s=&forumid=5

I also had that feeling/pain while doing the dishes on my ab. For me this pain was more of a surface pain (I also have a deep abdominal pain blamed on Endo)...but my docs think this surface pain is nerve damage. I started on a med a few months ago, and it seems to be helping in that department. I don't have the surface pain in the same intensity anymore! Something to consider....

You could still be feeling healing pain. It is said that full healing can take up to a year. Although, I still would get in to see your doctor. Please let us know how you are doing, and what the doc has to say...
