I talked to ((Angie))...update...

((Sisters)),
I just got off the phone w/ ((Angie))...I've been worried b/c I hadnt heard anything more, so I decided to call. She sounds ok..she had to travel to another town to have her GB surgery. It was done via Lap w/ several incisions...due to the amount of stones, they were in her Pancreas & Bile duct...she was transferred to Vanderbilt, which is here in town, to undergo additional surgery. She said the 2nd one was worse than the
1st They snipped lots of Scar Tissue, Angie said she got immediate relief from this She's having a somewhat rocky recovery but she did say that they were controlling her pain ok!
Also, her job was offered back to her but I think that decision for her is still up in the air...
Thanks to soo many for all the prayers, ((hugs)) & support Hopefully, ((Angie)) will be feeling better soon... I promise to update w/ any further info I get....(((((((hugs))))))))

Thanks for the update

Sheri, thanks very much for the update. I know we've all been wondering about Angie and hoping she's OK. Sort of ironic that she ended up back at Vanderbilt, isn't it?

Thanks again, and many many s to Angie.

Thank God :)

Dear Sweet ((((((((((Sheri))))))))))

Thank-you so much for sharing this update with us! I'm so sorry she had to go through so much...but it does sound as if things are better. I am also so relieved to hear that she got immediate relief when the scar tissue was snipped. I am so glad they are giving her pain relief...

I'm sitting here with tears running down my face...happy tears (I think we need a smilie for that!). Anj has been on my mind and in my prayers for so long. I truly hope and pray this surgery will give her a much improved way of life...that she so richly deserves. I love you ((((ANJ))))

Thanks again Sheri You are an amazing friend to all of us.

Thanks, Sheri, for some info. on Angie!! It is such a relief to
know that she finally received the medical attention she so desparately needed, her job was offered to her, and she is
home and recovering. It sounds dangerous having gall stones
in the pancreas and bile ducts. I only hope and pray with
these two surgeries, that Angie finally receives relief from all
of her pain.
