((NickChris)),
When I was first referred to a Pain Mgmt Dr, I too felt like I was accepting my fate that I would have to live w/ this pain forever For me, it has been the best thing I have done for me! They continue to do tests/procedures to try & alleviate my pain as well as search for causes. All the while I am finally getting some real relief The pain is not first & formost on my mind, I can do things I couldnt before. There are several other ((Sisters)) here who have had good results as well! Here is some info on Pain Clinics & what they do:

I do know how you feel sweetie. Although I didn't have endo I have and am still suffering with pain. I've had just about every test out there and 3 additional surgeries and still no relief.

I absolutely did not want to go to a pain clinic. I just knew that I could handle this. I would not let this pain defeat me. There came a point where I had to admit to myself that there were no answers for me and yes this pain was defeating me. I finally relented and made the appt with a pain doctor. It was the best thing I could've done and I now wish I had made that appt sooner.

Am I 100%? No. Am I able to function and live my life again. YES! I do believe that without the pain meds I would literally be crawling to work or worse yet wouldn't even be able to get out of bed.

Do read the links that Sheri has provided you. I have learned so much since I began this journey. You don't have to suffer sweetie and most of all you are not alone.
