Feeling Good After Lap

I just wanted to let everyone know that I went back to work Thursday.

The surgery has relieved the abdominal pain I was having.

When I called my doctor on Monday, she said that it appeared that the tubes and ovaries had been infected for some time. I think it probably happened shortly after the hyst, if they weren't infected before the hyst. Who knows?

I'm just a little sore from the surgery, now, but do not have the burning sensation I had for so many months.

My energy level is increasing daily!

I guess hind sight is 20/20 and I should have had everything removed during the hyst. At my age (50) and the history of hot flashes for several years before the hyst, I should have realized that the girls weren't working all that great, anyway.

Thanks for the warm responses. This site is a life saver & helped me keep my sanity.

I'll keep in touch.

(((Kris))) it's good to hear that you are doing so well, back to work already! Please remember to take it a little easy at first.... it's sooo easy to overdo things when you first return to your normal activities.

What a relief that the surgery appears to have taken care of the pain for you. Yay!
