The great thing about mammograms is that you get the results while you're standing there.

When they found my tumor and told me about it, they immediately asked me to go downstairs to have a mammogram done. I cried the entire time, but the one happy piece of news I got that day was that my breasts were clear. I was feeling **** proud of them, actually! I'm a coffee drinker, so I was expecting the worst. But everything was fine.

I had the world's smallest fibroid removed from one breast about 10 years ago; it was probably half the size of a pea. It turned out it was nothing.

Just keep your spirits up and don't worry. We're all hoping everything will be fine. :-)

There are a number of conditions that can cause nipple discharge. One is hormonal--high levels of prolactin (sometimes caused by sudden drops in hormone levels). Prolactin problems have cropped up fairly often over the years around the boards.

I know it's tense, but at least you're checking it out and until you have an answer, know that there are other possibilities.
