Cone report with question
I had my cone biopsy on Friday. The hardest part was waking up after the surgery. General anesthesia always makes me want to sleep for a week, and waking up is pure torture. I would have given anything to stay the night in that bed.
I got to see he biopsy, but it was wrapped in gauze in the jar, so it just looked like a blob the size of a grape. Pathology should be back on Wednesday. My doc said he liked what he saw. Whatever that's worth.
I have a quick question. I have been seeing women mention their "scootch reports" and I am utterly oblivious. What's a scootch? It feels silly to ask, but I haven't picked up the definition in context yet... and I've been trying! *laugh*

 's LadyAvalon!
Happy to hear that your cone is over. Yes, that anesthesia can be hard on a person.
Here's one of our early threads on scootching (where we were trying to figure out the spelling). The term kind of stuck with us and we've had several laughs these past months as we've carried on the story.
Just click here for scootching !

LOLOLOL...
I just read the link to the 'scootch origination'...that is absolutely hysterical...all my gyn. life I've been so embarassed by that movement- the ripped paper and my tookus hanging off of the table...to know it is universal makes me feel much better- not to mention laugh! I'm still cracking up over the conveyor belt notion- I think it's brilliant!
Great chuckle to start my day...thanks...

Oh my GOSH! That was funny. It reminds me of a hillarious book my husband likes to read. It's called _The Meaning of Liff_ by Douglas Adams and John Lloyd. It's full of nonsense words with definitions. I thought this one would fit nicely.
Screeb - To make the noise of a nylon windbreaker rubbing against a pair of courderoy trousers.
Or this one...
Skibbereen - The noise made by a sunburned thigh leaving a plastic chair.
Alas, there is no definition for scootch, but you ladies seem to have hit the nail on the head.
