Best wishes to Kim M (March 6) - Ultrasound-check gallbladder

So, Like Dawn, I'm always late .

Kim, you are rarely far from my thoughts...I'm so glad that you have been doing school this year! Hopefully they'llfind something that is EASILY treatable, and some portion of your pain load could be eased. Are you still doing that osteo's diet? I don't eat turkey without thinking of you

s, sweetie, and my ers for prompt results that make some sense of all the pain you've dealt with, especially lately...

Yep, still doing the special diet. Although I'm supposed to have been onto phase II eons ago, but everytime I try and increase my intake and add things I take a turn for the worse. The swelling increases and with the increase in swelling the pain increases tenfold.

I do think that part of the problem is that I've been cheating more and more. A gal can only take so much turkey. However, I've put myself back on the strict diet. I just can't take this. My energy is waning and am tired of this fight. Than I get mad at myself for not fighting this.

The osteo doc did put me on some pancreatic supplements but they only made things worse. I really think that she is at a loss as to what to do or suggest next. There just has to be an answer out there somewhere. If I continue with the *strict* phase I diet, I will shrivel up to nothing. I was down to 108lbs and recently went back up to 114.

Thanks to all you special ladies for your well wishes. It means so much to me that y'all care.

The test is done and unfortunately I got Ms. Stoneface so I don't have a clue if she saw anything or not. The screen was facing away from me so I couldn't even peek.

What I do know is that the pressure of the wand was killing me! I am sooooo sore right now. I guess it's time for some turkey so I can take a pain pill.

So sorry I'm tardy, Kim! I know what you mean about the pressure from the wand...she was digging in so firmly when I had my GB u/s that I thought for sure the gallbladder (or liver or pancreas) was diseased! And she wouldn't tell me anything, either. . .said she needed her job too much to tell me.

The doctor called me within 2 days and said, "The technician told you your gallbladder was fine, right?" I said, "She wouldn't tell me anything." and he seemed surprised.

So, hopefully you won't have to wait more than a few days for the results! Now eat your turkey and take a pain pill. I hope you get some answers.

((((((((((Kimmer))))))))))

I am soooo sorry that the u/s made you so sore and that you ended up with Ms Stoneface. I know the docs are busy etc., but in a perfect world, it would be nice to know if the u/s showed anything or not...even if it meant waiting in the office for a while.

I know I'm always sore after an u/s too my friend...I can feel your pain, and I hope it eases up soon.

I know I've said this a thousand times but I wish so much that I had that to make you all better....to make all of us better. This road is long, but I just know that one day we will all find that off-ramp...and in the meantime we can lean on each other.

You are loved...and I will keep you in my heart and prayers.

Hugs

Dear Kim,
I'm also sorry I'm late in wishing you well. I've been having a pretty miserable recovery. Anyway, I'm hoping your pain goes away and you get some answers with the test results. I'll be watching for updates on your progress.
Love, Light, Blessings
