Don't Know How Much More I Can Deal With!!!

It's me again. I am almost 5 months post op and I feel like each and every day is a struggle of some sort. If it's not my ex and his stupidity then it's one thing right after another with my health. When do I get some normalicy?? ! I have MPS, FMS, CFS, hypertension, mild scoliosis, degenerative disc/ joint disease, 2 protruding disks and one ruptured one. Have also experienced what the doc that did my surgery felt was probably adhesion or scar tissue pain.

I have gained a ton of weight which is depressing me to no end but, each time I try to slowly work my way back to more physical activity, I end up hurting so much that I can't handle it. I have been walking a mile a day and sitting on my fitball at the puter to try and stregthen my abs. This extra butt on my frontside is sickening! Woke up this a.m. feeling like my bladder is literally being ripped from my abdomen wall!! As some of you know, I posted a few days ago about bladder issues and how I thought that might be related to me taking Lortab for FMS pain. Guess that isn't the culprit after all! I stopped the Lortab and went back to my Ultram. I feel like I've torn muscles, but didn't do enough to warrant that. Doesn't feel like a bladder infection. It's a deep muscular burning pain. I can barely walk and just want to lay in bed with my heating pad.

I know, I know....it would be best to call the doctor. I no longer have health insurance though and simply can't afford to. I feel like a horse with a broken leg -- someone please shoot me and put me out of my misery!! Thanks for letting me vent -- believe it or not, it helps in some degree.

Don't Know How Much More I Can Deal With!!!

Hey sweet girl. I am sorry it's been a while since we've been in touch. I have been struggling on and off with different things, myself. I wound up with another bohemath kidney stone that hosptitalized me for 5 days, I finally had another surgery on it this past Monday, and after literally crawling around in pain all week, they removed the stint from my bladder this afternoon. I know you've been through so very much, sweetie, and I really wish I could just send you a huge hug. My divorce was final as of noon today, but that's not keeping my ex DH from being a royal pain. If you need me, I am still here for you, all you have to do is email me, ok sweets? I really do worry about you. I haven't been on the boards in ages, and I am so sad to see that you are having problems still. Please keep in touch, k?

Don't know how much more I can deal with

Hi. I am soooo sorry to hear about your struggles and aggravation. I can relate to how you're feeling-I really can. As
far as your insurance situation/please check out your local social
services center, or your local mental health center. They have
specially trained counselors that can help you obtain some kinds
of free coverage,so you can get the help you need! You're doing
the right thing in walking daily to help with your weight gain.
My problem was just the opposite, after my TVH- I lost too much
weight, but I still walk and work out to an exercise tape to tone
up from all that weight loss. Do you think maybe you're over-
doing it/with the abdominal ball? Why not just try doing some
simple sit ups with a pillow to support your back? As for your
ex-I don't know what to say! I've been separated for 4 years/
the idiot won't give me a divorce. But, please do check out a
social service center-because with all the pain you're in/you need
to see a doctor. I wish you the best/and I will be praying for you.
Just as recently as 2 weeks ago, I was posting that I regretted
having my TVH too-all because of a discharge/spotting that
would not go away-and this was eating away at me like a cancer.
But, at almost 11 weeks post-op the discharge finally stopped.
Good luck to you/and never feel bad about venting. God knows,
I've done my share of venting at this web-site! Take care/and
have faith. Things will get better!

Thank you so much!

I can always count on you ladies to make me feel better by telling me that I'm not alone. I am still having significant pain in my ab/bladder area tonight. And to make matters worse my legs are aching terribly (FMS I'm sure). Maybe I did overdo it?? However, if I'm not quite a bit better by Monday morning I will be calling my GP. He is usually pretty good about working with me on the financial part.

s all!!!
