Keep my daughter in your prayers.

Hi. Just wanted Rachel put on your prayer list. She underwent her surgery in Boston a week ago, and ran into complications. She lost 2 and 1/2 times her total blood volume. She had 11 units of blood transfused. She is still in ICU and intubated and due to go to the O.R. tomorrow again because of a piece of drain tubing that broke off when pulled out. Anesthesia calls her a difficult intubation/extubation and is concerned about her being on the ventilator so many decisions being made tomorrow. Thanks. I came home just to sleep and am exhausted, but knew I could depend on you all.

Keep my daughter in your prayers.

Lord, please bless Rachel and grant her abundant strength to
heal and recover from these surgeries. Grant her, her mom, and other family and friends your peace and hope. Please guide the hands of the surgeons and grant the doctors wisdom in knowing how to treat her. We ask YOu to touch Rachel with your healing touch, help her to overcome these complications, and restore her to good health. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

Keep my daughter in your prayers.

Just an update! Rachel and I are home from the hospital...she was 2 weeks in there, but she was finally extubated (breathing tube removed) after ten days and is now doing well. She still has black, swollen eyes and her head is swollen, but she is doing well!

Thanks for the prayers!
