bryndarammer - First here is a really big, warm and loving for you. It sounds like you can use all of the hugs you can get.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I do not have any personal experience with this. DH has a cousin down in Florida who gets grand mal seizures. Hers started after her not so dear ex- husband sent her to the hospital with numerous injuries. She is taking many meds, but I think she said the Neurontin is what really helped her. Is Tegretol the same med? I'm thinking that you should probably go back to your doc to discuss a change in your meds. Perhaps the dose of the Tegretol is too high for you...Or you need to give the meds more time, and hopefully the side effects will go away. I don't know...just a thought my dear. The next time I'm talking to my cousin, I will ask her what she is taking for the seizures etc. I don't know anything about this subject....Just sharing my ramblings LOL! So please take what I say with a grain of salt!

I'm so happy you found us. We will be here to support you...listen to your vents, and give you ((hugs)) - as many as we can and more. I hope you are able to get in to see the Neuro doc ASAP. Please let us know how you are doing...and how the appointment goes. I will keep you in my prayers, and pray that this doc is able to help you.

Sending another batch of S and

Sorry to hear you're having such a rough time of it.

Has anyone ever looked into why you keep getting yeast infections? I've done some reading on candida albicans, one of the funguses that causes yeast infections, and it can really do some strange things to your body.

Here's some WebMD links that might help:

Here's one from the Candida Page:

I also take Wellbutrin and it can cause sleeplesness when you first start taking it. It seemed to take about three days for that effect to go away. Do try to relax as much as you can. Are you near a public library? They may have some relaxtion video and/or audio tapes you can check out. Please don't give up hope--I'm right there with you when it comes to going from doctor's office to doctor's office in search of answers. Keep at it--they are not always right the first tme.
