cyclical pain AFTER hysterectomy info????

Hi ((((Krisclynn))))) I'm so sorry you're having such a hard time right now

Considering all the possibilities that your doctor suggested, has he/she indicated what the next steps would be? I know that I certainly would want to rule out such possibilities as cancer

I am sending lots of s your way. I hope that you feel better real soon.

Finally people who understand!!!

Hi everyone,
I am in the same boat after 4yrs post op and now being told it is painful ovulation. I get sick every single month. around the time I would have had my period, and ovulate.
Mood swings, acne, nausea, vomiting, low stabbing back ache, terrible right side pain.
Went to new GYN on March 4th. She put me on the birth control pill YASMIN.
Has anyone taken this one? Has anyone had any luck with feeling better after a few months on birth control? She told me to give it 3-4 months. It has only been about 16 days. The first 2 weeks I felt so pregnant. Nausea something terrible. I have never had luck with birth control and the ovulation pain in the past and this is so many years later.
Sure would like to hear everyones story and hope we can all find relief.

Write soon
Shireen

cyclical pain AFTER hysterectomy info????

Shireen, I was on Yasmin a couple years ago. It helped a little bit, but after having surgery, I developed a blood clot in each lung. Now I can no longer take any BCP's. Here I am, almost three years after my surgery and I am still having all the same PMS symptoms. There's not much I can do now, so I guess I have to deal with it

Krisclynn, did you get any results back from your bloodwork? Did you have the ultrasound yet?

I hope we can all find some answers!

Ovulation- cycles

Hi all --- I've been away tooooo long, lol - amazing how helpful it is, just to know you aren't the only one?

I too have monthly ovulation pain, had a TAH, in 2003 but of course left my ovaries since I was 40 --- & now they hurt hurt hurt when I ovulate, feel bloated like I can't 'tuck' my own tummy in,

Then add to it: I may need to post somewhere else for his too, is just a general feeling of discomfort, bloated, achey........

I've joked that when they did my TAH, they missed & took my brain instead..........is anyone else out there experiencing that? I've never really had 'blonde' moments in my life --- but since surgery 2 years ago I am a total spacecase, blonde to the core, dingbat.........what's that all about? Any insight??? Thanks, love & huggggssss!

cyclical pain AFTER hysterectomy info????

Thank you everyone for replying to this thread. I didnt realize that it was a couple years old. I was focussing so much attention to my concerns I didnt even think about more important things - like the precious lives that started this thread in the first place and the pain that drove them to write. I cry with you..

I went to have my blood drawn on Monday the 21st of March and called to make my ultrasound appointments. The soonest they could get me in is on the 29th -next week Tuesday. Then I called the GYN for a second opinion with my results from these tests and she couldnt take me until April 6th the week after next. Boy, these doctors are just great arnt they. I couldnt even get in to see my regular pcp... I saw her N.P. -but now I'm glad I did cause she was more thorough and didnt blam my pain on constipation like the PCP did 3 months ago. Instead, the N.P. ordered these tests...like should have been done back then

I'll keep in touch. Thanks again for all of your support, Krisclynn
