I went to the oncologist yesterday for my first pap test, I told him sometimes in my urine not all the time there were these yellow mucus things, on saturday when i urinated blood with clots came out i was devestated,

I go for my examination and as usual i feel totally violated, finger up here fingers up there so on, all i had was granulation and put that silver nitrate stuff on the area i was glad for that and that he wanted to see me in july, he said the chances of the cancer reacurring is less then 5% i was glad but wish it was zero percent but i will take that.......

thanks for listening

I'm glad it's over for you.........I remember how apprehensive I was about my first visit. I'm with you about that 5% figure!

I'm glad your visit is over--now you just have to wait for the results. It's easy to feel somewhat "violated" during these visits. It's such a personal area to have examined, but a very important one. Did your doc do a urine culture on you to see if you have a urinary tract infection?

Let us know what you find out!
