Ok, a really weird thing happened today!

Hi Everyone,

I took a nap this afternoon and was laying kind of on my side and tummy - slept for about a 1 1/2 hours...

When I woke up, I rolled over to my back and felt this really, really odd sensation that I had just wet my pants!! It felt warm and wet, I actually checked and I was completely dry!!

I went pee and not much was there at all....it was a really, really odd sensation.

Has anyone experienced this?

Maybe it's the nerves waking up again after last weeks lysis???

Hi Lori..

I can not say I have ever had that sensation and found it to be dry. When I have the sensation I am soaked.

Hopefully someone here has had the same thing and can put your mind at ease.

Have you told your about the sensations? Very weird!! I am curious to know what it is.

Oh wow Lori, yes I do get that feeling sometimes! I've never thought much about it, other than that it is a very very weird feeling.

I have also felt something similar to that, warm rush to the vagina almost sensation, can't remember if I was laying or sitting etc but did remember it was way weird. Never thought too much about it but I don't remember having it often enough to get my curiosity going. It would warrant a question to the DR if you are concerned or if it continues to happen. I wonder too if it is a nerve senses thing

I've had this happen, too. I always figured it was the position I slept in putting that area "to sleep" and then the sudden rush of blood when you move makes it feel warm and almost wet/peed-on. Kinda like when your leg falls asleep and hurts and throbs as it wakes up...but not so painful.

That makes sense...

Good Morning

That makes sense about the area being "put to sleep" like when your leg falls asleep! Thank's!

It was really strange. Never had it before

It's been 4 weeks this past Thursday since I started the "correct" medication for the IC. It's was hard to distinguish the bladder pain vs the pelvic pain pre-op, but now...the past few days, those achey, feel like I have a bladder infection, have to go all the time, & it only dribbles out, etc. feelings are there again. Probably never left, the pelvic situation just overshadowed it I'm sure.

Two weeks left until the Uro follow-up. If this medication was going to work, I'd definetly have some relief by then.

And each day goes on...

Good Morning!

I'm sorry you are still experiencing pain, do you think you should give the URO DR a call to make sure whether you have an infection?? Don't know if you are still on any type of anti-biotic with the new IC meds

Please take care and keep us posted.

Big s,

BTW: I would still mention that sensation to DR since you got lots of stuff going on down there, it could be something simple but might also be part of the many symptoms you are dealing with?

I have been having this happen on and off for the past few weeks. I can't exactly say why this is happening and yes, it is weird for sure! Same sensation, feeling like something is leaking but nothing. Hubby says healing is a strange thing and nerves take their time recovering too. I'm about 12 weeks out.
My doctor perscribed birth control pills for hormone therapy and I have to say that things have been feeling alot more normal down there then they have in awhile! I don't get the sensations anymore....perhaps it is hormonal?
