Feeling guilty for feeling this way!!??

Read some posts awhile ago, referring to the things some gals missed about recovery, kind of an odd statement, but I can totally relate!!!

I'm 6 weeks into recovery, doing pretty good for the most part, still have alot of healing to do on the inside, but people don't see that!

When i spoke to my boss one day, she said, you sound good...I felt like saying, "they took out my uterus, not my ability to speak!!"

At any rate, I sometimes feel like I've been dropped like a hot potatoe! I really was extremely well loved and taken care of for the first few weeks, but now........Us princesses require alot of attention and sympathy ( hee Hee)

Anyone else missing the pampering in this sick way????

I was definately feeling that way. Still am occasionally. It's like...O.K. people.. where are the cards...flowers...meals.. phone calls..I'm still here,recovering. A kind word of concern wouldn't hurt once in a while..Oh Well,we are allowed to feel a little sorry for ourselves right now. At least we still have each other. So let me say "Honey..sit down, feet up, and here's a cup of tea." Or do like I did...went online and ordered new curtains & CD's{whatever works for you}. Take Care.
