Welcome home Linda!
It sounds like you had the best care possible. I'm so glad that you were well taken care of and glad that it is over and you are on your way to painfree days. Woohoo!

Please be sure and get lots of and don't overdo. I've heard the pillow police have your number on speed dial.

Dear Linda,

I'm so glad to hear that you came through this surgery with flying colors and that all signs point to no more problems in that area! I'm sure it will be a big deal to heal from that kind of procedure, so just take it slow and easy! Sounds like you have a good support system in place!

Warm wishes!

I'm home! Woo-hoo!

Hi everyone! I only have time for a quick note while the aren't looking... (((Lynda))) went up to the airport to pick up my brother, who will be staying until Saturday morning. By then I ought to be OK on my own, except needing DBF to do the lifting and driving.

Thank you all so much for the s and sweet messages, they really mean a lot to me. The support of all my sisters helps me to stay strong through this... it was really pretty scary there and I don't know if I could have handled it without you all.

I'm feeling pretty good today, all things considered. The incision hurts, no doubt about that. The staples are pulling a little but otherwise things look good. I'm a little discouraged because after having all that stuff removed, I weighed in this morning at one pound more than the day I went in to the castle! But I figure maybe a lot of that is the major swelly belly I've got going on. Even my post hyst clothes wouldn't work right now... I'm in maternity panties and loose nightgowns or a jumper if I have to go outside.

Walking feels pretty good, better than sitting, so I'm off to take a little stroll around the house and then back to the recliner before I'm busted for being here!

and s to you all,

I'm home! Woo-hoo!

You're BUSTED!!! I can't believe that you had this major
surgery, and you have already written two posts!!Back to
bed or the recliner please!!!
Linda, you have two very special hystersisters in Audrey
and Lynda.
As much as we all try to avoid surgery, it sounds like you
really needed this one! I don't want to think about what could
have happened without it! Prayers have been answered that
your perforated colon did not cause you permanent damage.
Welcome home, and congratulations on leaving this
road!! I am really happy to hear about the normal bp. Let's
hope it stays that way!! I am curious; were you still taking
all your HRT treatments before your castle visit? Whatever
is working, I hope it continues!!!
