most bizarre feeling.......

Hi Gidge..

Boy do I know the feeling!! I thought I would never have to FEEL a tampon again, but I guess I thought too soon. I have to buy them for my DD and I feel like I am now wearing them.

I also have cystocele/rectocele and ALOT of other problems and HATE this feeling the most!!

I too did the kegals with no luck, I dont even have any muscle tone left to do them anymore. I am having mine surgically repaired after my lap.

Let us know what your Dr says when you go!!

most bizarre feeling.......

Thanks Pam !!!

It's really the most uncomfortable feeling I"ve ever had between the spasming/burning and then this "falling out" feeling.......today is one of those days when I wish I was a boy....and I really thought those days were over 3yrs ago.......oh well!!!

thanks for sharing!!

most bizarre feeling.......

I wish I were a boy about now too!!!!!!!

Especially since I do not have any energy to do my hair or put on make-up right now. I wish I had a baseball hat!!!!!

My PJ's are my bestfriend!!! I can not even put on my FAT jeans anymore..

I also have spasms and when I have to pee it feels like someone is stabbing me. I have been checked for infections and there are none. Hopefully the sling repair will do the trick.....

most bizarre feeling.......

well interesting to know that you have the spasms as well I wasn't sure if that was my interstitial cystitis or this possible cystocele/rectocele that was causing them.......always good to compare notes I say....now if someone could just get them to stop for us we'd have it made!!!

I want my pj's too but being at work it would like mighty funny

Kegals

The PT that I saw said that kegals wouldn't help a split in the septum (rectocele) since those are involuntary muscles. I could do Kegals all day and have no effect on my rectocele symptoms (tampon too low sensation, and after a long day a lot of pressure and achey perineal/rectal pain). Kegals definitely help pelvic floor strength, so are beneficial for bladder symptoms, and life in general I suppose. So don't stop doing them just because they aren't eliminating your symptoms.

I hope to be having my problem surgically corrected very very soon - I see the doc next week.

most bizarre feeling.......

Best of luck at the doc next week Lisa!!!

I wish I knew if I was just dealing with a cystocele or a rectocele or both....apparently they like to show up in pairs.....my symptoms seem so mixed.....alot of bladder pain for sure but then I have the tampon feeling too and pain with sitting......I'm going to see my GP tonight (YES I'm finally going hopefully can get in cause it's "walk in" tonight) and see what he can do to help with the discomfort and see if he can get me in any sooner anywhere.....I guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get referred to a new gyn as well cause everyone tells me I will need one.......and my old one has made it really clear she's not interested in helping me any further.....yikes!!!

I will post tomorrow and let y'all know if there is any news.....I'm hoping there is something he can do for this burning/spasming/discomfort............fingers crossed!!!
