WENT TO THE DRS..BLADDER PROBLEMS STEMING FROM ME ALL OF A SUDDEN GOING INTO ALMOST OVER NIGHT MENPOPAUSE.THE LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS I WAS FINE.IT ALL STSRTED WITH THE BLADDER SYMPTOMS.DR SAYS MY FSH LEVELS WERE HIGH.MEANING MENOPAUSE..I WAS LIKE HUH??????? I WAS FINE..MY RIGHT OVARY IS SHUTTING DOWN APPARENTLY AND NOT PRODUCING ENOUGH ESTROGEN WHICH IN TURN WILL CAUSE INTERSTITIAL CYSTITIS PROBLEMS BECAUSE THERE IS KNOW ESTROGEN IN THE URETHA. DR PUT ME ON ESTRATEST. A COMBO OF TESTOSTERONE & ESRTOGEN TO SEE IF IT WILL SETTLE THE BLADDER DOWN.PLUS I DONT HAVE ENOUGH HORMONES FLOWING THROUGH ME.NO WONDER WHY I FEEL LOONEY!!!!! ANY WAY THAT IS MY DIAGNOSIS. IF THE HRT DOESNT HELP THEN I HAVE TO GO BACK FOR FOLLOW UP WITH THE UROLOGIST AND SEE WHAT ELSE COULD BE DONE..RIGHT NOW.I AM JUST TRYING THIS TO SEE IF IT HELPS RELIEVE THE BLADDER SYMPTOMS.THERE IS A BOOK I HAVE, CALLED THE V BOOK.ITS BY ELIZABETH STEWART M.D.THE BOOK IS FABULOUS.IT TELLS YOU ALL ABOUT VAGINAL PROBLEMS AND BLADDER PROBLEMS LIKE THE INTERSTITIAL CYSTITIS I WAS TELLING YOU ABOUT. IT IS VERY HELPFUL.IT TELLS YOU WHAT EVERY THING IS AND HOW IT IS TO BE TREATED AND WHAT YOU CAN DO.ITS LIKE MY SECOND BIBLE.I BRING IT TO ALL OF MY APPOINTMENTS AND HAVE EVEN GOTTEN ONE DR TO BUY IT.I DONT CARE IF THEY THINK I AM NUTS.BUT THEY END UP REALIZING THEY CANT TREAT YOU FOR WHATEVER AND THEY WILL SEND YOU TO SOMEONE WHO CAN..THE BOOK COULD BE FOUND IN ALL BOOK STORES. AGAIN WATCH YOUR DIET.CITRIC ACIDS,SUGAR,YEASTS,SAUCE,ALL KINDS OF THINGS WILL AGGRAVATE YOUR BLADDER IF YOU HAVE IC[INTERSTITIAL CYSTITIS]THE BOOK WILL GIVE YOU A LIST OF ALL THE FOODS TO STAY AWAY FROM WITH THIS CONDITION.PLUS STRESS WILL MAKE IT WORSE TOO. WELL AGAIN I HOPE I HELPED..LET ME KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH YOU. IN PUT IS GREAT..BETTER THAN A DR HUH? ANGEL

Hi there I'm so sorry you're having all of these problems I understand how frustrated going into sudden menopause can be: I also kept my ovaries, but they are obviously having problems producing enough hormones
