No appointments this week (April 7)?

Hi, Girls!

I don't show any appointments for this week on the calendar! I hope this means there aren't any! If, by chance, you have an appointment for this week, just post it on to this thread and we'll wish you well as we go along! To anyone I've missed: Good luck!

Have a good week!

I Get to Go to the Dentist At Last!

It's been over a year--my last scheduled clean/check was the day I moved and four days later I was on chemo. Off--and I'm looking forward to the dentist! I need it--can't neglect teeth. So--someone happy to visit the dentist!!!! Ellen

appt.

I have an appointment on the 7th. It was a little sudden and I haven't been able to get into the computer to post it until now. Sorry for the short notice. It is for vaginal odor I have been experiencing and they may also do my follow-up pap (4 month), I am supposed to ask if they can. I feel they should. I think they scheduled it too far out anyway. It was on the 25th of April, which is 5 months since my surgery. I see most everyone else is followed up at 3 months. I don't feel my doctor is aggressive enough. He let me wait a year after my last abnormal pap before the cancer diagnosis. Maybe it wouldn't have gotten that far if he indicated for me to be watched more closely.

Ellen....... have a good cleaning!

Peaches.... I hope your visit goes well and that they'll be able to do your pap test. I was on every 3 months at first but the first one ended up at 4 months. I had a post-op visit at one month and they counted from there.

's ladies.

Good for you, Ellen! Very important to keep those teeth in tiptop shape! I hope all goes well and then you can keep up the !

(((Peaches))) I hope things go OK today. My first PAP was slightly after the 4 month mark. My doctor didn't want to do it prior to 4 months because he felt it was important to let as much swelling go down as possible to get the best possible read. He was probably also taking my emotional status into consideration, knowing that if the PAP did not come back well (because the cells looked funny from the swelling) that I would not have handled it well. I hope they find the source of your odor, although if there's an infection there, he won't be able to do the PAP. Will your doc be doing a ThinPrep or traditional PAP?
