I'm starting to get mad about several things, not the least of which is that I simply didn't know that MJ could help alleviate an amount of pain that no one -- particularly the women on this board -- should ever have to suffer through.
Though I am aware that HS does not condone the use of MJ, I read through the web guidelines and find that sharing information designed to benefit others is not out of line. I rely on this board and its members a great deal, so I share this information with only a sincere desire to help others who may be suffering.
After doing some research, I found a web site that presents information about medicinal MJ in a pro/con format. Sources quoted are either medical professionals, law enforcement professionals, or patients who have found relief by using MJ. I am posting this link in the hopes that some of this seemingly unbiased research -- on both pro and con sides -- might be helpful in evaluating ways to alleviate some of the pain and suffering related to cancer treatment.
Of particular interest to the perusers of this board will be Section 14 -- Chemotherapy. Other sections of note include legal issues, government positions, diseases for which MJ has provided relief and risks. I hope this information is helpful.
I wish to note that I am not currently smoking MJ. The need to smoke is directly related to the amount of pain and nausea one is suffering. I feel OK now, so there is no need. The need will start up again come Monday.
