ovaian cyst painful bladder

Its been about a year since my hyst. At about 8 months I had an ultra sound to see why I had great pain and pain when I would empty my bladder, they found 2 cyst on my right ovary. Doc said to wait about 2 months and do another ulta sound to see if they would go away. They did but I had 1 on my left ovary. So she prescribed me vioxx. Well it hasnt been that bad until this past week my right side is killing me and it hurts to empty my bladder. I know its a cyst, but is it common for me to get this on a monthly basis and just wait for them to burst, and why does it make the bladder hurt so bad when going pee? Other than that small problem Im doing great with the hyst. She was very strong feeling about me keeping my ovaries at a young age and I do want to keep them I think Its better to deal with the cyst than to deal with hrts and menopause, but I cant help but wonder is there more than one cyst is it bigger this time it makes me want to get an ultra sound every month just to see whats going on in there, but thats not practical.well anyone who has any comments feel free and let me know what you think..

(((((Angie)))))) I'm so sorry you've been dealing with these recurring cysts I have only had to deal with an ovarian cyst and it did rupture. While I was dealing with it, I was unsure if the pain came from my ovary or if it was my bowels spasming again. My gyn thinks it was both.

One thing I know is that when I'm dealing with PMS, I'm also having problems with either water retention or with an overactive bladder and that my IBS symptoms seem to peak at that time. Somehow or other, our bowels, bladder and cycles all seem to be linked.

On thing you should do is ask your doctor about the pains you are having with your bladder at the same time as you notice that cysts reappear.

Sending tons of s your way and hoping that someone can shed some on all of this.
