Leg Pain

Has anyone experienced very bad pain in the thigh and leg associated with their mass or tumor?

Leg Pain

s Annie

I did have leg pain. But any mass, benign or malignant, will cause pain if it is pressing on a nerve. Could be a symptom, but then again it might not. That is the problem with ovarian cancer. Too many vague type symptoms.

Leg Pain

Thanks, Karenann. I have very bad leg pain mostly at the very top, but it radiates down, plus a dull ache in my abdomon and lower back, like the beginning of a difficult period. I just now saw on my ultra sound report that in addition to the mass on the left side, there were some small cysts in the right ovary also. I don't know if that is significant or not. Thanks for your input about the leg pain. I'm very curious if anyone else has that since it's such a big factor for me.

Leg Pain

Alot of problems in the pelvis can cause this. I had leg and thigh pain that was caused by my endometriosis. My gyn/onc explained that the brain is not very clever in telling where the pain is in the pelvis - it could be coming from anywhere in there. You can get pain on the left from a problem on the right and vise versa. I was getting pain in all sorts of places! I had back pain, leg pain, thigh pain, pain on the left, pain on right, in the middle.... Not all at the same time. It varied. I found it very confusing. But endo areas I had treated were central.

Leg Pain

Thanks, Lydia. It all feels connected to me--the pain I mean. I wanted to see if anyone else had had anything similar.
