Calmer seas?

SirenSong, I've been thinking about you too. Hope it was much smoother sailing this time.

It's Wednesday. I hope number 2 went much better than number one. For me Day 3 and 4 were the worst, so I understand if we don't hear from you right away. Just know that you have been in our thoughts. Hang in there. You are 1/3 or 1/4 of the way finished!!!!!!!

Eat those Twinkies and Hohos or whatever you can keep down. Soup did it for me.

Wondering Too

For me days 3-4 were the worst, so you may be feeling not up to writing right now but I hope things went better this time. Remember when you are feeling awful, it's nothing compared to what those cancer cells are feeling--so they're really being clobbered but good!

How blessed am I? My heart is so incredibly touched by all your positive words of support, and by the fact that you're even thinking about me. Seashell even sent me some beautiful little bird feathers to cheer me. You guys are all so great.

So far, so good. I'm achey and tired today, but we'll have to see how things go. Last time, Day 4 was awful . . . and then Days 6-9 were the worst. Since I'm no longer on post-surgery pain meds, I'm hoping that my bowels will continue to work, and that the extra steroids, stool softeners . . . and other "nameless" things . . . will help. I will definitely keep you posted. My learning is your learning, too.

Many hugs and prayers to all of you, and thank you for brightening my day! Your support makes it so much easier to get through all of this. I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate it. And I swear that my prayers last night included almost all of you by name. Since I have "chemo brain," I was susprised that I remembered so many names! But I'm praying for all of you, too.
