Hey ((((Sisters))))

I just wanted to drop you all a quick note to say "Hello" and to let you know that you all remain in my prayers.

My pain clinic (and all of my specialists) is closed due to the SARS outbreak here in Toronto This means that all of my appointments and tests have been cancelled for the past 6 weeks or so. Some of these tests I have waited months for...but I know that it is more important that the medical prof's try to contain this horrible illness.

My docs are trying to set up an 'off site' location to start seeing patients again. I really need to get in as the pain is getting worse. I just know that the Endo is growing in there...slowly but surely.

On a bright note...My bone density test came back fine...so I am continuing to eat lots of foods containing calcium etc., And trying to lead a healthy life. The FMS is really flaring...but I'm hoping that will improve...

I'm sending out many S to my sisters on the road...

Hey ((((Sisters))))

(((Jude))) I was just wondering how you were doing... I'm so glad you posted!

I'm sorry your pain clinic appointments keep getting cancelled... that SARS thing sure is scary. I hope they're able to find an alternate location so you can have your appointments again.

That's great news about your bone density test, Yay!

We miss you, (((Sister)))

Hey ((((Sisters))))

Great minds think alike!
I, too, was wondering about you today.

What a bummer to have to wait again for those tests, but better safe than sorry.

Even though the clinic can't see you, are you able to get your meds? I hope so!

Keep a smile on your face, and know that so many are thinking of you!

So good to hear from you, I sure hope you are at least able to get some of your meds. I can see the issue with SARS that truly is scary. I hope they will be able to get that alternative site you talked about reallll soooon.

Hey ((((Sisters))))

Thanks to all of my dear sisters for your kind words and Gosh, I have missed you all so much.

I have been able to get my meds. Initially, this was a huge concern for me :hair: as I wasn't able to get hold of my Dr's office. I was leaving message after message...when finally I heard that they were going to call them in for me. I was told at first that I would have to get the meds from my GP...but I know that he would not prescribe them as he is very anti pain medication. It all worked out...but there was a great deal of anxiety leading up to that point.

The SARS thing is very scary...but I must say that the media is blowing it totally out of proportion. I know that it is serious...but it is not nearly as bad as it looks on the news...Thank God. I can only hope and pray that things improve very soon. The number of cases in declining...so hopefully that is a sign that it is on the way out of here!

My belly is so big/swollen and sore these past few weeks. I have been having really bad pain where my ovaries used to be...so I know the Endo is getting worse.

The Fibro has been so bad that I can barely stand having water touch my skin...never mind DH. But at least I am not bed ridden...so that is a bright note.

I hope to be on the boards more this weekend to offer you all my support and love. Thanks for yours....

S to my sisters on the road...

Hey ((((Sisters))))

(((((Jude))))))) I'm so sorry that you've been adversely affected by the SARS epidemy On the bright side, it's still better than becoming infected by it... but I'm so sorry that you're in pain and your tests and appointments have been cancelled

Sweetie, I do hope that your doctors are successful at setting up and offsite facility and I hope that the SARS issue will be contained and eliminated really soon. It's gone on for long enough.

Sending lots of and ers your way, Mon Amie.
