My Doctor went over the Pet scan results with me today and confirmed what the radiologist said " No evidence of disease."
He gave me the go ahead to have the colostomy reversed.
The scan did show that my bladder has an "unusual configuration, projecting posteriorly to the sacrum and connot be emptied fully." They cannot rule out that this deformity is not caused by tumor, but it has remained unchanged thru all 3 pet scans and does not show hypermetabolic activity associated with cancer. My bladder had been giving me problems since the exenteration and maybe when the colostomy is reversed the surgeon can fix that. I am so relieved!
