period like cramps, can it be this cystocele?

Wow I have to go back to that last post and read more when I get the time, I"m at work right now and wanted to fill y'all in on my doc appt.

He feels that the pain in my legs and lower back "could" be related to my bladder prolapse and want to wait to refer to me to a rheumy until after my bladder is assessed which isn't until July he didn't mention fibro but I did and he said that it's a possibility but so is alot of things at the moment.......

we talked about my extreme tiredness and how it's not going away and he wants to send me to a sleep specialist...which I agreed to, I have no idea if I'm waking up a million times a night or I"m sleeping right thu, if nothing else maybe this doc will be able to point us in the direction of CFS or FMS??? Has anyone seen one??

my left calf has also been swelling since my dental surgery last month (it's prone to this but it's quite bad lately) so I have to go for a doppler ultrasound at the hospital this week or next to rule out a blood clot.......

and last but not least my BP is still up 143/90 this time, last time it was 145/100.........at the hospital when I had the dental surgery it was 149/101......and they were freaking about it, he says it's not good but nothing to be alarmed about just yet and we should watch it??

he says it all sounds slightly hormonal as well and can't figure that out since I have no ovaries.....he said if I did we could likely blame all of it on that!

let me know what y'all think of all this, I'm thinking of heading back on my holidays (next week thank god) and going over the allergy clinic and more on the rheumy cause I didn't even get to talk to him about all the trouble I'm having with trying to avoid sulphites in my foods etc.....

thanks for listening

well the hospital just called and they are rushing me in this afternoon to do the ultrasound on my calf to look for this bloodclot (if it's there).....sometimes they move fast around here but not too often!!!

I also got my appt with the sleep guy, it's not until July 17th.....the day after the new uro appt.....I'm starting to see when my next week of holidays is going to be I can't see my work being too pleased about two appts in one week....

and they're both so darn far away, oh well it's a start right?

((((Gidge))))) I don't know if you've already had your U/S or having it today (a bit confused with the time difference... you're two hours behind, right?.. so you should have had the U/S by now ) Just wanted to either wish you luck or say "I hope it went well".... just let us know how it went, ok?

thanks for the well wishes

well they took about 45mins to ultrasound my left leg and couldn't find any deep vein clots.....she says this still doesn't explain why it's swollen but at least rules out something life threatening, she said maybe the blood flow isn't great to that area or who knows but that the radiologist would look at it further and they would get back to me if there was anything I needed to know about!!

onward and forward I guess!

Ok for some reason this morning is pure h#@ll with my bladder, it's burning so bad I can barely sit here and spasming like a son of a gun......

and I don't know what's made it so much worse? My GP told me last week the only way he could get me in sooner to see a uro (I'm waiting to see a new one) was to present me thru the ER....if this gets any worse that's where I'm going to have to be

I just don't get it but I guess it could all be part of the prolapse???

(((Gidge)))) Sweetie, if you haven't already done so, please go to the ER, ASAP. What you're experiencing is most likely a result of the prolapse and sounds like it could be a very serious bladder infection. My sister had one of those recently, and ended up in the castle for 4 days.

Wishing you well. Please let us know how you're doing.

thanks Dany

It always feels like an infection but it never is.....we must've checked it 6 times in the last 2mths

I think what I need is more Ditropin today but if I take anymore I'll be asleep I can only handle 1/2 of one during the day but I take a whole one at night!
