Could pain be a good sign?

I have pain in my left pelvic area, as well as hip and leg pain. My son said that so often, people who discover they have cancer felt no pain before their cancer was discovered. He said, "Mom, maybe it's a good sign that you do have pain."

Did you have pain before surgery?

Could pain be a good sign?

s Annie

Yes, I did have abdominal and leg pain. But then so do people with benign cysts. Any sort of growth can put pressure on organs and nerves. Pain is not a good measuring tool.

Could pain be a good sign?

I had no pain before my last surgery. Once they took out the tumor and scraped my pelvic wall, I had pain. I had pain everyday until I started Chemo. Chemo did get rid of my pain, thank goodness. I was eating those pain killers like candy..

Now, I have pain about the weekend before my next chemo treatment. So I have to agree with Karenann, pain is not a good measuring tool, it so dependent on the person also.

's and ers to you.

Could pain be a good sign?

When all is said and done, having a look at it seems to be the only true measure.

Could pain be a good sign?

Hiya

Im confused here! Have you actually been told that you have the 'c' word?? Please just concentrate on the operation that you are going to have and how quickly you are going to get better! Dont try and deal with the unknown. Just a thought thats all.
Take care
