good doctor?

I need help and advise for a HUGE uterus. I have many large fibriods. Been growing for at least 10 years. 48 yrs old and many symptons. I am finally going to have them removed.

How do I know if I have a good Doctor? thanks

One thing you can do is look up your doc at this American Medical Association website:

Ask your GP about your gyn ... ask other ladies you know what they have heard about your gyn. In my community, there are certain gyns that get mentioned a lot as being experts at one procedure or another. I began seeing a new gyn a couple of years ago ... at the recommendation of my GP, and I really trust her. She goes to the docs in this practice.
