Behold the princess!!!

Hi Ladies...
I'm home. Had my LSH-BSO and cystoscopy yesterday at around noon and was back home at 6pm. I feel really good, a little tired and sore but overall good. A word of warning here....that first night....set an alarm to take your pain meds. If you wait until the pain wakes you up it's hard to get it back under control (experience here!)
For all of you still waiting, everyone here is telling the truth when they say that the waiting is the hardest part! I was mood swinging anyway from my hormones and then we had a family crisis out of town so my mom had to go there and I REALLY wanted her with me (even thought I knew she had to go and understood, it still broke my heart) so I was kind of a basket case when I got to the hospital but a few well chosen drugs took care of that.
I'll be posting my castle story a little later. I have to go in this morning and have the catheter taken out.
thanks ladies for all the support...i don't know how I would have made it thru this without it.

Behold the princess!!!

Vickie- Glad your home and feeling fine. But, do not overdue anything. Take it easy and get plenty of rest. Try not to stress over the family issues. You must have a good recovery, so you can go out there and live your new life.

Keep us posted on the post-op side.
