TVH 7 days post hysterectomy - gas, pain and 100° temperature

I am 7 day post vaginal hysterectomy with bladder repair. .....I still have such bad gas even after taking gas reliving meds all week (they used no gas during surgery )....I also have bad right side pain on top of chest gas pain with burning down below...I now have a (100° temp feel like crap only going on in evenings today and yesterday) any one else going thru this is it normal when do I need to contact doctor

Probiotics and/or yogurt with live cultures, stool softeners, walking, heating pad on abdomen. If you are taking something like Miralax it can cause horrible gas.

The lower right abdominal pain - I had that bad. CT was clear. Doctor said the colon drops down in the area which is still tender (this was last summer) which is probably causing that pain. He knew it hurt because it really hurt when he did the pelvic exam and pushed that area.

As for the temp, I would give your doctor a call if it is still there in the morning. Does it come down when you take ibuprofen, aspirin or tylenol?
