Throat infection, UTI and no BM. Any advice?

I had a TAH last Wednesday July 24th was sent home on Friday. Was rushed back to ER Sunday with a fever. They ran tons of tests. I have a throat infection and UTI. I am now on antibiotics and more pain meds. I am in pain and still have no had a BM yet. I go back to Dr tomorrow. Hopefully it starts to get better soon. Any advice for me.

Have you tried stool softeners or suppositories? I would definitely talk to your dr about it and about the fact that the pain meds are not working, there is always something stronger they can try. They intentionally give the lowest dose that will work for most people so that there is wiggle room for folks like you to get more if needed.
