My peritonitis finding in the ER

Went to surgery on the 14th of September, I went home on the 17th of September I started to feel intense abdominal pain on the 18th of September Thinking it's just normal after surgery I highly medicated myself so I would not feel the pain But it wasn't working nothing worked not even my Bowels. I remember my nurse saying during discharge it just gets better from here if you feel any discomfort come back to the ER and make sure you bring your discharge papers it will help the process at admission. So that's what we did gathered my paper work and was on our way to E R. I was in such a state of disarray I was in with no problem. First they gave me pain meds that did not work then I was given some liquid to go under ct scan. They didn't see anything but they said there has to be something give her an X-ray and low and behold it's there an abscess on my abdomen.

What have they done/ are they doing about the abscess?

I was told that if I had problems to go back to the hospital that I had my surgery. They have all the records. It was about 10 miles. There Is one 3 blocks from me but I shouldn't go there. So always go back to the original one. It is easier to get the tests needed. I am glad they found your Problem.
