TAH/BSO - Tummy Tuck

Hi Ladies.. well I had my consult with the plastic surgeon and it looks like I have a real chance to get a tummy tuck with my TAH/BSO.. I am so excited.. he said that I should have a really good result and most of it is excess skin.. So.. as long as the price quote is where I want it to be, then we are good to go with both on April 19th.. )

I am considering a tummy tuck as well. I can easily arrange all of it as my gyn has done this with my ps before. How has recovery been?

I will let you know once I am recovering.. ) My surgery is next week.. I got the final quote from my ps.. it will cost me $3700 for him (paid prior to surgery) but he and my gyn/onc Dr will try to make sure that I don;t have to pay any additional OR or anest. time.. so hopefully that will be my total cost.l )

Thanks, and good luck to you! I have an appt with a ps on the 30th, so we'll see what he says. I am hoping my costs will be a bit lower than that, but they probably won't be! To me, it seems to be a no brainer at this point. I want to have a TT and since I'll already be off from work and having a hysterectomy, why not get it over with now? I just need to talk my DH into it! Wish me luck on that one!

) yea that was my thinking as well.. I will be home anyway, so why not.. I was lucky that my husband was like "go for it".. ) But we did agree that if it was over $5000 we would have to think twice.. people that have GYN's that do this for them for free are lucky.. )
